This scabbard bandage was made by the Japanese WWII officer in the field. I think it is cool. Probably a Japanese food ration can, pounded to create a bandaid on the scabbard. The sword experts called the finish, "Deer Antler Finish."
I would prefer to sell this to the family who consider this to be a family heirloom in Japan. I have a Japanese translator who will provide me the kanji translations.
